I have been going to the theme parks for years. In fact, my husband and I had our honeymoon there in 2009! When we had kids, we started to go every year. And then we had our second baby, we continued the annual pilgrimage. During one of our treks, I saw a man wearing the coolest tee that said "If you can read this, thank the Pheonicians". I totally knew the reference and I felt like I was part of the "in-crowd" of super fans! I asked him where he got it (hoping it was somewhere in the parks) and he said it was online!
Fast forward a few years and I was DESPERATE to find a tee that made reference to the "winking hippo" (or "tipsy" as I prefer) on the Small World ride. NO ONE made one! So I created my own artwork in April of 2023 (and now that I look back, it's probably the WORST drawing in my opinion since I've learned so much!).
And then my husband saw how much fun I was having and the rest of history! (Oh yeah, I was an interior designer by trade for 15 years after getting a 4 year degree at Michigan State University. But this is more fun :-P)
