Take me back. Right now. Immediately.
On October 1, 1996, Cinderella Castle became a giant pink birthday cake. It stayed that way until January 31, 1998. Fifteen months. Three shades of pink. 55,040 tablespoons of paint, 50 oversized gumballs, 30 lollipops, 4 Life Savers, 12 gumdrops, 16 red candy hearts, and 16 green candy stars.
Disney called it the 25th anniversary celebration. They called it "It's Time to Remember the Magic." Guests either loved it passionately or hated it with the intensity of a thousand Florida suns. Either way — no one forgot it. Whether you loved it or you didn't love it, no one forgets the birthday cake castle. A Magic Kingdom VP said that. She was right.
The Take Me Back tee is for the Disney adults who were there — who walked down Main Street U.S.A. and looked up and saw a pink castle covered in candy and felt something. Maybe joy. Maybe confusion. Maybe both at once. The ones who have been chasing that specific flavor of 90s Disney magic ever since.
You can't go back. But you can wear the shirt.
It's time to remember the magic.
Machine wash cold, inside out. Tumble dry low. Don’t iron the print.
A note on the garment dye: slight color variation between washes is completely normal — it's part of what gives these tees their vintage character, not a sign anything's gone wrong.
Tees ship from an external warehouse within 3–5 business days. From there, USPS typically delivers within 5–7 business days.
Planning a park trip? Order at least 14 business days before you travel, or drop me an email at kylie@thequirkymouse.com and I'll help you figure out the timing.
Returns and exchanges aren't something I'm able to offer through the warehouse — but if your tee arrives damaged, I'll always make it right. Email me with your order number and a photo of the damage and we'll sort it out.
