"Dead men tell no tales."
He said this. Out loud. While narrating.
The Ghost Host has spent the entirety of your Doom Buggy tour delivering a richly detailed, masterfully paced, deeply committed monologue about every single one of his 999 happy haunts — their backstories, their habits, their preferred method of haunting — and at no point did he pause to consider that he is, himself, a dead man, telling an extremely elaborate tale.
It gets better. The voice warning you that "dead men tell no tales" as you drift through the Pirates of the Caribbean grotto, and the voice narrating your entire Haunted Mansion experience, belong to the same man — Paul Frees. The same dead man. Telling tales in both attractions. Across two different parks. Apparently as a lifestyle.
The Dead Men Tell No Tales tee is for the Disney adults who caught this. Who looked at the Ghost Host and thought: you absolute hypocrite, and I mean that with the deepest possible affection. Who love both rides so much they noticed the thread connecting them and pulled it.
This is the shirt for people who pay attention.
Your ghost host — your cadaverous pal — has a lot to answer for. He won't be answering.
